Requirement: Testing of Data Access speed and Performance improvement.
Description: AllPlaza.com is US based website which is not exactly a shopping site. It gives its customers the advantage of comparison-shopping. Customers can compare the prices of same product offered by different stores.
The website was already in service but was found to be very slow when accessing. We had to increase the speed of accessing the webpages. Our approach was to test the speed of queries in retrieving the data. We did the testing of all the queries to check the time taken for retrieving the data and analyze the results. As part of performance improvement process, Query optimization, redesign of database and Memory utilization, recreation of indexes was done.
