Specification:
The Production Monitoring module aims for the automation of production monitoring task. This task involved manually going through the Log files and taking remedial measures to get the MatchCraft exchange running smoothly. The automation of this process involves scanning the Log files, extraction of important information and to present it in a very concise manner. This report is sent to the relevant personnel through email to help them take timely action.
This module mainly deals with extraction of data that matches a certain pattern. Perl being one of the well-known languages for pattern matching and extraction was the language of choice for this module.
